Scholarship Information

 

NCDLA / William L. Rodgers Educational Scholarship Application & Guidelines

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide assistance and encouragement to a worthy student in the Associate Degree Dental Laboratory Technology curriculum at Durham Technical Community College in Durham, NC.  This scholarship is valued at $1750 and may be presented annually. The funds shall be deposited by the school and made available to the student as needed to pay for materials and tuition required to complete the program.

 

This scholarship is named in honor of “Chief” William L. “Bill” Rodgers, CDT, retired Program Director of the DTCC Dental Laboratory Technology Program, in recognition and appreciation of his outstanding contributions in the education of dental laboratory technicians.

 

 

NCDLA Professional Excellence Scholarship Application & Guidelines

The NCDLA Professional Excellence Scholarship is designed to financially assist qualified dental technicians with the examination fees that comprise the Certified Dental Technician examination process.  The NCDLA Professional Excellence Scholarship may be applied toward the application and testing fees for a candidate to take the written comprehensive exam, the written specialty exam and/or the hands-on practical examination. One or more scholarships will be awarded annually as funding allows. The scholarship amount is up to $500 per recipient and the scholarship must be used within 12 months.

 

NADL Pillar Scholarship

The Pillar Scholarship covers the application and testing fees for a candidate to take the written comprehensive exam, the written specialty exam and the hands-on practical examination, one time each. It also awards the candidate a certificate that can be used to purchase study materials through NADL. The scholarship amount is $1,000 per recipient. Scholarship recipients must take all three exams within 12 months of being awarded the scholarship.
