Arey Grady, CDT (L) presents the first annual NCDLA Academic Excellence Award to Edwin Chung (R)

On behalf of the N. C. Dental Laboratory Association, past President, Arey Grady, CDT from Kinston , NC awarded the first annual NCDLA Academic Excellence Award to Edwin Chung from Durham , NC . This celebration was held at Durham Technical Community College on April 14th. Mr. Chung will graduate in May and currently holds a perfect 4.0 average. Following graduation from DTCC, Mr. Chung has applied at UCLA to continue his studies with Dr. Edward McLaren. The NCDLA applauds Mr. Chung’s achievements and encourages his professional growth in the field of Dental Laboratory Technology.
All students graduating in May of 2009 were presented Graduate Gifts from the NCDLA consisting of complimentary Technical Membership in the NCDLA along with continuing education vouchers.
