Susan Ragan
Pyburn of Raleigh passed away Thursday, May 6, 2010 at the age of 54. A loving
wife, mother, daughter and friend, Susan touched the lives of everyone she came
in contact with through her perseverance and quiet selflessness. She was simple
in spirit, and will be remembered for the loving compassion she showed to all of
her family and friends.
Susan is
preceded in death by her father, Charles Eric Ragan and by her sister, Charleen
Ragan Snipes. Susan is survived by her husband, Rick Pyburn; sons, Adam Pyburn,
and Eric Pyburn, his wife, Stephanie; her mother, Clara C. Ragan, her
father-in-law, Jack Pyburn Sr.; and mother-in-law, Leah Pyburn.
A funeral
service will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 East Millbrook Road,
